Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you through immigration and customs formalities. After a warm welcome, you will be transferred in comfort by our deluxe coach to your hotel in Cairo. Once checked in, take some time to relax and settle in. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in the vibrant capital city.
After an early breakfast at 7:00 AM, depart for a full-day excursion to Alexandria in a private air-conditioned vehicle. The journey from Cairo to Alexandria covers approximately 225 kilometers and takes around 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, explore the remarkable Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, the largest Roman cemetery carved into rock across three levels.
Continue the tour with visits to the Ancient Roman Amphitheater, featuring marble seating for 800 spectators, mosaic flooring, and surrounding Roman villas and baths. Witness the impressive Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter-high granite column built in honor of Emperor Diocletian in AD 297. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Citadel of Qaitbay from the outside, located on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. After the tour, return to Cairo by evening, check in at your hotel, and enjoy an overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin a full-day tour at 8:00 AM to explore the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza. Built around 2500 BC, these monumental structures served as royal tombs for the kings of the Fourth Dynasty. Also, marvel at the iconic Sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human, designed to protect the sacred grounds. Enjoy shopping stops at a papyrus fair, perfume factory, and a cotton shop.
The day continues with a visit to the renowned Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient Pharaonic artifacts spanning various eras of Egypt’s rich history. Later, experience the bustling energy of Khan El Khalili Bazaar on El Moez Street — one of the world's oldest and most famous marketplaces, dating back to the 14th-century Mamluk era, perfect for souvenir shopping. After some free time, transfer to Cairo station to board the sleeper train to Aswan. Dinner and overnight will be on board the train.
Upon arrival at Aswan station, you will be warmly greeted by a Travco representative. Begin your sightseeing with a visit to the stunning Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. This temple, rich in heritage and architectural beauty, is one of Egypt's most revered monuments. Next, explore the High Dam—Egypt’s monumental achievement of the 1960s, constructed under President Gamal Abdel Nasser to regulate the Nile's waters and generate electricity.
Continue your journey with a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk, carved from red granite and believed to be dedicated to the god Amun Ra. This massive structure offers a glimpse into ancient Egyptian stoneworking techniques. After the tour, transfer to your luxurious Nile cruise and check-in to relax and enjoy the facilities onboard. Spend the night in Aswan, preparing for the scenic cruise ahead.
In the early morning, with breakfast provided in a box, depart at 4:00 AM in a fixed convoy by air-conditioned vehicle to Abu Simbel. Explore the magnificent Temple of Abu Simbel, one of ancient Egypt’s most extraordinary achievements, built by Ramses II. Carved directly into rock, this temple remained buried under sand for centuries until its rediscovery in the 19th century, and continues to impress visitors with its grandeur and historical significance.
Around 1:00 PM, the cruise sails toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, whose construction began during the Ptolemaic period and was completed in the Roman era. The temple is notably divided into two sections—one dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and the other to Haroeris, the falcon-headed god. After the visit, the cruise continues to Edfu, where you will spend the night onboard.
Begin the day with a visit to the magnificent Edfu Temple, reached by a charming horse carriage ride. This well-preserved temple, constructed with sandstone blocks, follows the traditional layout of Graeco-Roman temples. Built during the Ptolemaic era in the 3rd century BC, it was dedicated to the worship of Horus, the falcon-headed god, and stands as one of the most remarkable sanctuaries of its time.
After exploring the Edfu Temple, continue your journey as the cruise sails toward Luxor, offering serene views along the Nile River and setting the stage for more historical discoveries ahead.
After breakfast and check-out, begin the day with a morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, a fascinating burial site of ancient Egyptian royalty from the New Kingdom period. Explore three royal tombs carved into the mountainside, followed by a visit to the iconic Queen Hatshepsut Temple, known for its grand terraces and statues of the queen with a beard. Next, stop by the Colossi of Memnon—two massive stone statues dating back to 1350 BC, remnants of the once-great funerary temple of Amenhotep III.
In the afternoon, continue to Karnak Temple, a vast and impressive complex shaped over centuries by numerous pharaohs, showcasing grand architecture and intricate carvings.
